As Pure As Life

A patient does not simply mean a patient. He / She signifies a life – in torment – & when a life is at stake, everything is at stake.
During some crucial moments when patient’s body closes all avenues of drug administration, oral or intramuscular, & runs dry its resources of vital fluid, every drop of intravenous fluid that flows into the body nourishes & restores the fluid & electrolyte balance in the body.
When every drop means new life – it should be as pure as life itself. This is our working philosophy at Rusoma & therefore no – absolutely no margin of error can be allowed. We insist on total purity – nothing short of it &, look! where it takes us!
To start with we know that like enterals, parenterals can not be ejected / rejected by vomitting or diarrhoea, & so we make sure twice again.
Besides testing the water for injection used in our drugs for no less than twelve parameters – one each for pH; Acidity or Alkalinity; Chloride; Sulphate; Nitrate; Ammonium; Calcium & Magnesium; Heavy metals; Oxidisable substances; Residue on evaporation; Bacterial endotoxins & conductivity, even the bottles & rubber closures intended for packing parenteral fluids have to be subjected to a series of critical tests to ensure that there is no interaction between the closure, the inner surface of the bottle & the drug.
Even after the manufacturing of a batch is completed satisfactorily, we observe the fluid – for any viable contaminations & it has to pass through strict quality control tests for seven days to make sure that not even a shadow of impurity mars the drug.
And all this because we don’t care any less for your patient – because after all its a life that will be saved.
